Cafe

This week we are truly blessed and lucky to be in such a beautiful town. The people here are incredibly kind and caring and the city is so beautiful. It reminds me so much of York. We are staying really close to the town center so we have been able to walk around to get to many of the places in town. Laura and I are across the street from one another so last night we ventured out to the center together. I feel very safe here. It's about 3 1/2 blocks to the square in town and the whole city is laid out like a grid so it's easy to find your way around. We went to a street fair where we each were able to purchase some small items. The sterling silver here is rather inexpensive. After the street fair we went to a coffee shop and enjoyed a cappuccino. Since this is my first time out of the country I was proud that we were able to venture out on our own and not have a translator with us. It was funny when we became the highlight of this small town that rarely has out of towners. We had 3 different people come over to talk to us, but the conversations were quick since they don't speak English and we don't speak Spanish. Today we are meeting with the mayor before touring 4 schools. It should be a nice day. I'm looking forward to it.

Enjoy our coffee selfie. :0)
