Host family #1

I have arrived safely in Argentina and have met with my first host family. We have enjoyed tea and alfajores as well as a delicious lunch. I got to nap and shower before heading to a family birthday gathering later tonight. I better prepare myself for late nights. It seems as I everyone stays up rather late here. Mabel and I have figured out ways to translat for each other since she doesn't speak English and we all know my Spanish is not very good. She has been wonderful so far and I'm looking forward to a week with these wonderful people. So welcoming.
