All settled in!

We've now been settled in with our host family for two days and I feel like I'm part of the family! The Marinelli family has made me feel right at home by taking me on a tour of the town and treating me to a lovely dinner on Saturday night. We have long discussions at the dinner table about all aspects of our respective cultures. I'm so grateful for their generosity and kindness. The language barrier can be tricky but a smile and a shrug usually help! Carolina, the daughter of the family is the only English speaker and is therefore on duty all of the time! We're all having fun though. More fun is definitely in store!
