All kinds of schools

Our group was able to visit a number of schools today. This morning we went to a private school and got to speak to two different high schools classes learning English. What a great time. Allie was flying all around and saying hi to everyone.
After the private school we went to rotary for lunch where we were once again served an amazing lunch of raviolis with pesto and bolognese. We are certainly being well taken care of here. None of us are going hungry. In the afternoon we went to visit a public school. This school is one of the oldest in Jose C. Paz and has students from 1st to 6th grade. We snuck into a few classes to say hi and became instant celebrities. The children wanted to take pictures with us and sign their papers. It was so amazing.
Some of us were even gifted candies from the students. The school has a small kiosk where they sell treats and school supplies for the kids. So during their recess the student bought little candies to share with us. After the tour we were able to meet with the headmistress and an English teacher to discuss differences in our educational systems. It was so interesting to learn how things are different here. I'm learning so much.
Tomorrow we will take the train to Buenos Aires to spend the day shopping. I'm looking forward to it.
